آخر کار خیبرپختونخوا حکومت نے پشاور بس ریپڈ ٹرانزٹ (بی آر ٹی) منصوبے کا کل افتتاح کرنےکا اعلان کردیا ہے۔
خیبرپختونخوا کے وزیراعلیٰ محمود خان کے معاون خصوصی برائے اطلاعات و بلدیات کامران خان بنگش نے میڈیا ٹیم کو بی آر ٹی کا دورہ کر وایا۔
صحافیوں سے گفتگو میں کامران خان بنگش نے کہا کہ کل 3 بجے وزیراعظم عمران خان بی آر ٹی کا افتتاح کریں گے، اور ان کے ساتھ اور بھی حکومتی رہنما ساتھ آئیں گے۔
انہوں نے مذید بتایا کہ بی آر ٹی منصوبے کے لیے ماحول دوست ہائبرڈ بسوں کو شامل کیا گیا یہ بسیں بجلی پر چلتی ہیں، بی آر ٹی منصوبے کا مخصوص ٹریک 27 کلو میٹر پر مشتمل ہے اور ہر اسٹیشن کے درمیان 900 میٹر کا فاصلہ ہے۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ بات صاف واضح ہے کہ بی آر ٹی چلے گی تو اپوزیشن بھی ضرور جلے گی۔
دوسری جانب اگر دیکھا جائے توابھی تک بی آر ٹی منصوبہ مکمل نہیں ہو سکا, ابھی تک اسکے 3 ڈپو، کمرشل پلازے اور سائیکل ٹریک پرکام جاری ہے۔
یہ منصوبہ اکتوبر 2017ء میں شروع ہوا تھا اور اس منصوبے کو خیبر پختونخوا حکومت جو کہ پی ٹی آی کی ہی تھی نے 6 ماہ کے اندر مکمل کرنے کا دعویٰ کیا تھا اور اس وقت اس منصوبے پر قل لاگت کا تخمینہ 49 ارب روپے لگایا تھا لیکن ابھی بھی منصوبہ مکمل بھی نہیں ہوا اور71 ارب روپے سے بھی تجاوز کرچکا ہے۔
BRT Project
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the inauguration of the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project tomorrow.
Kamran Khan Bangash, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan for Local Government and Information, took the journalists on a tour of BRT.
Talking to media, Kamran Khan Bangash said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the BRT tomorrow at 3 o’clock. Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail are also coming for the inauguration.
He said that eco-friendly hybrid buses have been selected for the BRT project. The special corridor of the BRT project consists of 27 km and the distance between each station is 900 meters.
He said that it has become clear that if the BRT goes ahead, the opposition will burn.
On the other hand, the BRT project has not been completed and work on 3 depots, commercial plazas and cycle tracks is still incomplete.
It may be recalled that the project, which started in October 2017, was claimed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to be completed within six months, while the cost of the project was estimated at Rs 49 billion, which has exceeded Rs 71 billion.
